Yes I said I was going to blog more and life gets the best of me and I tend to forget. I never imagined life would be this crazy busy and Jocelyn isn't even in school yet, so it's only going to get busier once she gets older and has after school activities *fingers crossed*
Life around the Tschakert house has been very busy the last few months with the Christmas holiday. We spent a lot of time with both sides of the families, in MN and in IL. My dad and suster even were so kind to travel to MN for Christmas weekend to spend time with us and Adam's family.
Jocelyn got pretty much everything she wanted and that means I need to de-clutter the playroom to make room for it all. She still has some toys from her bvirthday 4 months ago that haven't even been played with. Time to donate and sell some stuff to make it better down there. Oh and time to start investing in some organization pieces to make it more managble down there! Next step will be to finally paint the basement living room/playroom!
Jocelyn starts swimming lessons round 3 tomorrow! She just loves that water, and it's one of the best things you can do for a child with a Brachial Plexus injury. So despite the cost we keep signing her up every 8 weeks LOL
She has been better with her JIA and we will be signing her up for her annual JUvenile Arthritis March at the Mall of America on March 5, 2011. Those who wish to come out and walk are welcome or you can make a donation to her fundraising goals! Last year with matching donations she almost hit the $500 mark, which I think is pretty good for a then 3 year old :) Next month wil be 2 years since she was diagnosed, I had hoped she would have "grown" out of it by now but unfortunately her body has not won that battle yet. As the weeks go on with her receiving her 2 injectible medicines on top of two other daily medicines, I fear the worst but try to have hope for the best. :(
Anyways that is the latest and like always I will try to be more consistent on blogging here!
